ISO TC 37 Terminology and Other Language and Content Resources

ISOcat is the reference implementation of the ISO 12620 standard, and thus is used to validate and check the consistency of this standard. One of the main changes to the previous draft of the standard is the revision of the DCR data model. This revised data model is now specified as an UML class diagram [ PDF ]:

Together with the data model the Data Category Interchange Format (DCIF) also has been revised. And a small XML vocabulary to embed data category Persistent IDentifiers (PID) has been added to the standard. Their schemata are available here:
