Guest User
When you open the ISOcat Web Interface for the first time, you do so in the role of a Guest User. You have access to a temporary buffer called "My Workspace", where you can:
Guest users must register as ISOcat Expert Users in order to:
- View the data categories (DC) that have been released to "Public" space
- Pick out individual data category specifications to examine
- Save them in a personal "basket" as a personal Data Category Selection (DCS)
- Export them in the Data Category Interchange Format (DCIF) or in an RDF file to use in their own environments
Note: Previous Syntax users do not have to re-register to use ISOcat. You should log in using your old Syntax ID and password in order to have access to your existing DCs and DCSs.
- Create new DCs
- Save a DCS to a permanent Private workspace inside ISOcat
- Edit "owned" DCs and DCSs
