ISOcat data category retrieval function that offers various options for querying and finding data category specifications based on standard keyword search strategies

The ISOcat search function is controlled by a toolbar located above the Browser Pane in the main display window.

To search for an item, type a “keyword” — that is, a suspected data category name — in the keyword search box. Use the simple binocular icon to perform a simple search or click on the special binocular icon to select a specific language, field, profile, scope, or matching strategy to refine your search.

Click the refresh icon to clear the search choices and return the display to the standard browser pane display. You can use this icon any time you wish to return the browser pane to the default display.
